I&E Technician

About the role

The I&E Technician will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure switches, sensors, control valves, and variable frequency drives.
• Configure and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Develop and modify PLC tags for SCADA systems.
• Modify existing SCADA code as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using industry-standard tools and software.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or higher in an automation-related field preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation, including PLC programming and SCADA system configuration.

Skills

• Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, and Instruction List.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and their integration with PLCs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.
