What You’ll Need To Succeed Proven senior-level experience in instrumentation and electrical design within industrial or pipeline projectsExpertise in preparing process flow diagrams (PFD), piping & instrument diagrams (P&ID), equipment layouts, plot plans, and equipment/instrument listsStrong knowledge of assigning electrical equipment, instrument tagging, conduit, and cable numberingAbility to resolve drawing development issues efficiently and accuratelySkilled in drafting changes to record drawings and maintaining detailed project documentationExcellent communication skills to coordinate with vendors, project managers, and cross-disciplinary teamsFamiliarity with developing project scopes, engineering/design scopes, and construction scopes of workProficiency with design software and CAD tools, along with a commitment to developing and maintaining standard drawings and procedures Nice To Have Skills Experience in developing material data sheets and parts lists through material take-offsKnowledge of specifications and procedures related to technical design and documentationAbility to review man-hour estimates and work schedules for project efficiencyExperience with vendor communications for material quotes and availabilityFamiliarity with project logistics and the coordination of multiple stakeholders Preferred Education And Experience Advanced technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical, instrumentation, or related engineering fieldsSenior-level design experience in industrial plant, pipeline, or facility projectsDemonstrated success in managing design and drafting tasks within complex projects Other Requirements Willingness and ability to travel via air and/or automobile to various facility sites as neededCommitment to maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and professional integrity Ready to take the next step in your engineering design career?
