I/DD Waiver Provider Educator (Remote in West Virginia)
Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Provider Educator plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality, person-centered services within the West Virginia Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Waiver (IDDW) Program. This position is responsible for developing, delivering, and monitoring training and technical assistance for waiver providers to promote compliance with Medicaid regulations, the WV IDDW Policy Manual, and best practices in service delivery. The Provider Educator oversees provider contractual requirements to enhance positive relations and manages customer service experience. Additionally, the role involves serving as the provider educational coordinator, focusing on quality improvement initiatives, and staying informed about updates to automated review systems.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services Field
Reside in the State of West Virginia
3+ years experience with the WV IDDW Program
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of the WV IDDW Policy Manual
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical guidance
Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
Analytical skills to identify trends and recommend improvements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, virtual training platforms, and (preferably the UMC Web Portal)
