I&C Engineer

About the role

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an I&C Engineer opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

Responsibilities

• Provide support engineering services including engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents.
• Prepare design output documents such as P&IDs, control logics, loop diagrams, setpoint lists, instrument and control valve specifications, DCS and PLC design, instrument location and installation design, panel layouts, and vendor document review.
• Perform walk-downs of systems in the field.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, I&C Engineering, or current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of these disciplines.
• Five years of design experience in the nuclear or chemical process industry.
• Design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 2D MicroStation Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).
