Responsible for
- Operating equipment safely
- Producing quality products according to documentation
- Performing quality checks
- Changing over equipment
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and areas
- Facilitating continuous operation of equipment during breaks
- Maintaining quality and GMP standards
- Performing basic troubleshooting
- Entering SAP data
- Participating on blitz teams
- Ensuring compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and regulations
Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections
- Perform changeovers, line clearance, and cleaning
- Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment
- Support the business by cross-training where needed
- Process SAP and MES transactions for department
- Assist in the BDA process to identify root causes
- Maintain compliance with all required document training
- Operate lines in a safe and efficient manner
- Drive department results by reducing downtime and completing tasks efficiently
- Maximize efficient time usage in the department
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business
Education and Experience
- High School diploma/GED preferred
- In lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience is required
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous experience with MES preferred
- Previous experience with precision measuring instruments preferred
