Hypnotherapist

Qualifications

• Valid Hypnotherapy certification required
• High School diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepares client to enter hypnotic state by explaining how hypnosis works and what the client will experience
• Provides individual and group sessions
• May train client in self-hypnosis conditioning
• Induces hypnotic state in client, using individualized methods and techniques of hypnosis based on interpretation of test results and analysis of the client’s problem
• Adhere to the documentation guidelines set forth by Passages
• Participates in the multi-disciplinary team process by providing and sharing with the Clinical Director and other team members information that contributes to/positively impacts the overall plan of treatment for the client

Requirements

• Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet 24/7/365 healthcare facility needs
• Travel between company locations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties is required as company needs dictate
• This position requires occasional driving as duties dictate, which may include transporting clients
• Must satisfy post-offer, pre-employment conditions such as tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter), background check (including criminal and driving record check), drug screening, reference check
• Ongoing monitoring and screenings during employment in accordance with law and company policy
