About the Role

We are seeking a Hyperbaric Wound Care Nurse Manager to promote growth and unlock possibilities at Riverside Community Hospital. You will ensure high-quality, patient-centered nursing care through 24/7 responsibility for the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. You will monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
  • Manage admissions and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput.
  • Support efforts to reduce variation in nursing practice and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost.
  • Maintain staffing in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
  • Resolve and/or channel employee grievances, disputes, or concerns according to appropriate procedures.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance.
  • Build a competitively superior organization by attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining talent.
  • Ensure people with the right skills and motivations are in the right role at the right time to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in clinical specialty, or RN Diploma required.
  • 1+ years of applicable experience required.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse or other licensed clinician in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Founded in 1901, Riverside Community Hospital is a 542-bed full-service acute care hospital located in the heart of the Inland Empire. We house the largest Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the region and are one of Riverside County's only STEMI (heart attack) receiving centers. We are also a fully accredited Chest Pain Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Our centers of excellence include the HeartCare Institute, offering invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
