About the Role
We are seeking a Hyperbaric Wound Care Nurse Manager to promote growth and unlock possibilities at Riverside Community Hospital. You will ensure high-quality, patient-centered nursing care through 24/7 responsibility for the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. You will monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
- Manage admissions and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput.
- Support efforts to reduce variation in nursing practice and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost.
- Maintain staffing in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Resolve and/or channel employee grievances, disputes, or concerns according to appropriate procedures.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance.
- Build a competitively superior organization by attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining talent.
- Ensure people with the right skills and motivations are in the right role at the right time to meet business needs.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in clinical specialty, or RN Diploma required.
- 1+ years of applicable experience required.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse or other licensed clinician in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
