About the role

The Hyperbaric Safety Director at Healogics is responsible for administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy, operating and maintaining hyperbaric chambers, and ensuring patient safety. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, educate, and orient patients for hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
  • Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Provider.
  • Maintain and operate hyperbaric chambers and related support systems.
  • Participate in safety programs and conduct safety drills.
  • Coordinate and approve hyperbaric chamber upgrades and repairs.
  • Lead the hyperbaric safety program and maintain a safe environment.
  • Document daily hyperbaric treatments and patient records.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) or Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS) certification.
  • Pre or post-hire completion of an approved Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Safety course.
  • Current healthcare professional certification or license as applicable in state of practice.
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience in healthcare.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $31.24-$41.33 Per Hour.

Schedule

This role typically works a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed.
