Hygiene Plant Intern
About the role
An Operations Intern will support the operations team by assisting with project management, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The intern will work closely with various departments to ensure operational efficiency and contribute to the achievement of business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in planning, executing, and closing projects, including creating project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Collect (time studies), analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
- Evaluate current processes and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance, including key metrics and insights.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support various operational initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Handle day-to-day administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, and managing communications.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a 2-year associate’s or 4-year bachelor’s program in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering, or currently enrolled in a trade school program such as Mechatronics, Welding, Machining, or Electrical Technology.
Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to operational excellence in a professional environment.

Pay
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $15-$20 per hour. The pay range varies by work location within the United States and is based on factors including skill set, experience, location, and qualifications.
