Hygiene Assistant

Description

Harvey Dental Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Hygiene Assistant to join their team in Villa Rica, GA. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in creating a positive experience for patients.

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting or hygiene assisting experience required
• Open Dental experience preferred
• iTero scanner experience preferred
• X-ray certification preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• Strong understanding of dental instruments and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for hygiene procedures
• Aid hygienists and doctors during patient care
• Sterilize and organize instruments
• Take dental radiographs as needed
• Chart patient information and maintain accurate records
• Education patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the clinical area
• Ensure proper operation of dental equipment and supplies
• Support efficient patient flow and minimize wait times
