Hygiene Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid hygienists with patient care and clinical procedures.
• Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms between patients.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols.
• Take dental radiographs.
• Update patient records and chart information accurately.
• Assist with iTero scans and digital imaging as needed.
• Ensure operatories are fully stocked and organized.
• Provide outstanding customer service while helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
• Support the clinical team with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Dental Assistant certification/license required.
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting or hygiene assisting experience.
• Experience with Open Dental software preferred.
• Experience with iTero digital scanners preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork and patient care.
