Hydromet Leach Operator I

About the role

Performs duties related to the leaching process and leach field construction. Performs pipe fusions using fusing machine. Responsible for having knowledge of plant nomenclature to include sumps, pumps, and leaching areas. Responsible for having knowledge of various evaporative spray heads and drip systems and may assist with and perform the proper placement of these on leach fields. Perform loading, delivering, and unloading pipe and materials. Operate mobile equipment such as loaders, forklifts, boom trucks, and light duty vehicles and UTV (Utility terrain vehicle). Perform area housekeeping. Perform maintenance activities. Perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for having knowledge of plant nomenclature to include sumps, pumps, and leaching areas.

Requirements

• Six (6) months of experience in the trade.
• Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.

Skills

• Knowledge of plant nomenclature including sumps, pumps, and leaching areas.
• Knowledge of various evaporative spray heads and drip systems.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment such as loaders, forklifts, boom trucks, and light duty vehicles and UTV (Utility terrain vehicle).

Benefits

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $23.00 - $31.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.

Pay

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $23.00 - $31.00/hour.

Schedule

This role is eligible for non-standard schedules, including shift work at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
