Responsibilities
- Perform hydrostatic testing on piping, vessels, and equipment (up to 2,000 PSI)
- Set up and monitor test equipment to ensure safe and accurate execution
- Review drawings and test specs to verify requirements
- Install blinds, gaskets, studs, and fittings for test setups
- Monitor gauges and identify leaks or pressure drops
- Record and document test results and discrepancies
- Identify materials and apply correct test methods and media
Requirements
- 1+ year of hydro testing or related industrial experience
- Experience with gas compression or processing equipment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Basic mechanical aptitude
