Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and repairs on hydraulic equipment
- Implement recommendations from equipment audits
- Carry out periodic maintenance according to planned guidelines
- Order and maintain spare parts
- Participate in safety meetings and technical meetings
- On-the-job training of drilling crew
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience on offshore drilling units as a Hydraulic Mechanic
- Certified Mechanic including an approved apprenticeship
- 5+ years of experience working with IFS
- BOSIET, CA EBS, Confined Space - Entry and Attendant Course Certificate
- STCW Security Awareness
- Computer literate
- Conversant with safety management system
- Good verbal and written English skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, components and principles of fluid power
