Hybrid Volunteer Photographer — Seattle Nonprofit Events & Youth Stories

Responsibilities

• Photograph fundraising, volunteer, scholarship, community, and program events
• Capture candid moments, portraits, environmental images, and branded content
• Cook up shot lists, schedules, permissions, and event logistics
• Select, edit, organize, caption, and deliver high-resolution and web-ready files
• Follow brand, accessibility, privacy, safeguarding, and approved photo-release requirements
• Maintain respectful representation of youth, families, volunteers, and community partners
• Provide usable image metadata and organized archives
• Collaborate with marketing, video, social media, and program teams

Qualifications

• Strong photography portfolio and experience with events, portraits, or documentary storytelling
• Proficiency with professional camera equipment and editing software
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate reliably
• Access to appropriate photography equipment and transportation to agreed Seattle-area assignments
• Experience with nonprofit, community, or youth-centered storytelling is helpful
