Photographer (Hybrid)

About the role

This hybrid position is responsible for capturing and delivering photography assets that tell the Globe Life brand story—from headshots and events to executive moments, both internally and externally. You will coordinate production with the Director of Social Media, collaborate with content creators, and work alongside internal departments to highlight opportunities at Globe Life. The role requires professional engagement with agents and executive leadership while innovating photography assets within brand guidelines.

Hybrid schedule: Work from home Monday & Friday, in office Tuesday–Thursday (McKinney, TX).

Responsibilities

• Capture and edit images for various purposes.
• Plan and execute photoshoots at diverse locations.
• Coordinate with Digital Media Content Creators to ensure correct photography is captured at events.
• Upload photos to a photo hosting site for online use.
• Curate photo collections for field force and corporate teams for social media.
• Attend events to capture and highlight key moments.
• Collaborate with and mentor social media team members to improve photography skills.
• Manage project requests from planning to delivery.
• Travel frequently to corporate events as business needs dictate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Photography, from a four-year college or university.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in Photography, digital content creation, or digital marketing.
• Passion for social media and the digital marketing industry.
• Strong eye for composition, creative vision, and proficiency with cameras, lighting, and editing software.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or InDesign.
• Knowledge of photography techniques, tools, and principles.
• Enthusiasm for taking initiative on new projects.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Experience with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, art teams, and subjects.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality final images.
• Flexibility to work in various locations and adapt to different client needs.
