About the role

Our client in the industrial automation and process systems industry is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to lead the design and execution of complex turnkey processing systems, including skid systems and tank solutions for sanitary manufacturing environments. This role involves overseeing projects from concept through commissioning while collaborating directly with customers and internal teams. It is well-suited for candidates with strong technical leadership, process engineering expertise, and the ability to manage complex projects from design through startup. Responsibilities

  • Lead process engineering projects from concept development through commissioning/startup
  • Design complex sanitary process systems, including multi-skid, CIP/SIP, and aseptic processing
  • Review and approve PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and engineering deliverables
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members
  • Lead customer technical discussions, design reviews, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with ASME BPE and other regulatory standards
  • Support proposals, estimates, standardization, and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Participate in FAT oversight, commissioning, and onsite startup support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 7+ years process engineering experience
  • Experience within food, beverage, dairy, or pharmaceutical industries required
  • Strong knowledge of sanitary process design and CIP/SIP systems
  • Experience delivering turnkey skid and tank systems required
  • Strong desire to lead and mentor junior engineers required
  • Experience with ERP systems and AutoCAD 2D/3D required

Pay

$120,000 – $150,000 Base Salary

Schedule

Full-Time, ~45-55 hours per week

20–40% travel within the U.S.
