Job Summary (Senior Application Developer) Design and develop full-stack applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 9, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript libraries, Azure). Analyze requirements and develop application interfaces and integration flows using Visual Studio. Optimize and manage SQL Server databases for efficient data storage and retrieval. Build scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions leveraging Azure services (App Service, SQL Database, Functions). Integrate user-facing elements with backend logic in collaboration with UI/UX designers. Incorporate GIS applications and manage geospatial data, integrating with enterprise systems and improving data accessibility. Analyze, process, and manage spatial data from multiple sources. Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards and recommend improvements. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues promptly. Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation (system designs, workflows, user guides). Ensure solutions follow industry standards, best practices, and security protocols. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovations and process improvements. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and project managers for requirements gathering, status updates, and expectation management. Prepare and deliver documentation and knowledge transfer for organizational and inter-agency adoption. Lead and collaborate within cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within defined scope. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, GIS, or related field (Master s is a plus). 8+ years experience as a full stack .NET Developer (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/9, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Azure). Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (React, Angular). Experienced with RESTful API development and integration. Strong background in geospatial data types and databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle/Oracle Spatial, PostgreSQL/PostGIS). Experience with web-based geospatial visualization and mapping libraries. Skilled in DevOps, CI/CD tools, ALM (Azure DevOps, GitHub). Excellent collaboration, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Microsoft Azure certifications preferred.
