HYBRID School Speech Language Pathologist

About the role

All services are presented virtually with in-person assessments. Attending IEP meetings could be virtual or in-person. In-person for assessments and more intensive students and all other service time provided virtually.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students in a hybrid setting
• Participate in IEP meetings both virtually and in-person as needed
• Assess students virtually and in-person as required
• Ensure compliance with professional standards of practice
• Maintain current certifications and licenses

Requirements

• Licensure in the state of assignment as an Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
• Current CPR certification if applicable
• Completed TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if required by state or contract
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• At least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• Experience in providing speech-language therapy services
• Knowledge of relevant professional standards of practice
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting with both virtual and in-person interactions

• Proficiency in virtual assessment tools
