Hybrid Sales Representative/ SWAT - CST
About the Role
The Hybrid/SWAT Representative is responsible for engaging customers through multiple remote and face-to-face channels to promote brand messaging. Develop and maintain relationships with targeted accounts by engaging in dialogue utilizing triggers, business acumen, and technology/digital resources.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations by covering vacant territories and expanding remote promotional capabilities via virtual engagements and face-to-face activities.
- Engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) face-to-face as needed when opportunities are identified.
- Utilize digital resources and technology to connect with HCPs.
- Engage assigned HCP targets in-depth program discussions to attain individual territory and company goals post-launch.
- Profile and manage a targeted list of HCPs.
- Create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business goals.
- Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills, utilizing proper terminology and approved messaging.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the disease state and program.
- Adhere to approved direction related to pre/post-launch activities.
- Verify and complete required data entry in client CRM systems, including details of targets' responses and follow-through actions.
- Follow business rules for appropriate hand-offs to other personnel.
- Communicate with the Sales Leader, team members, and client on project progress as required.
- Create and maintain a positive impression with clients and their customers.
- Prepare reports for management as needed.
- Fully comply with all laws, regulations, client policies, code of conduct, privacy/data guidelines, and relevant state/federal laws.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions.
- Perform special projects and assignments as directed by program leadership.
- Travel in the field up to 30% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university or college.
- Pharmaceutical sales experience required.
- 1+ years of therapeutic area experience preferred.
- Virtual sales experience required.
- Specialty pharmaceutical experience required.
- Experience utilizing digital resources, triggers/suggestions.
- Certified on product by client preferred.
Skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Credentialing Requirements
As a representative of a pharmaceutical company, you may be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers. Compliance with facility-specific requirements is expected. Additionally, certain geographic jurisdictions or hospital systems require representative licenses. Currently, representatives working in the District of Columbia, City of Chicago, State of Nevada, State of Oregon, or those associated with Jackson Memorial Health in Miami-Dade County, Florida, may need specific licenses. This list is subject to change, and you will be notified of any significant updates.
