What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using network analysis and critical path methodology
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure alignment with contract requirements
  • Perform delay impact analysis and recommend corrective actions
  • Cookordinate schedule updates with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Prepare schedule-related reports for project oversight and decision-making

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline, or 10 years of equivalent construction experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling for construction projects, preferably from government contracts
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling software
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and project controls principles
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check and obtain a DHS security clearance for Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Card

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience working on government contracts or with federal agencies
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements related to federal projects
  • Knowledge of additional project management software or tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination
  • Previous experience in construction management or related fields
