Hybrid Per Diem Home Study Specialist

Devereux Massachusetts & Rhode Island is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to helping children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Based in Central, MA and Warwick, RI, our programs and services make a difference in the lives of individuals and their families, offering hope, healing, and comprehensive behavioral health support.

Responsibilities

• Visit homes in the Warwick, RI area to conduct home studies.
• Prepare adoption and/or foster care home studies.
• Schedule and facilitate SAFE interviews.
• Provide flexible, meaningful work that impacts families and children.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, or Psychology preferred.
• SAFE certification required.
• Experience preparing home studies.
• Experience scheduling and facilitating SAFE interviews.

Qualifications

Ideal for experienced human services professionals with strong writing skills and prior certification and experience completing adoption and/or foster care home studies.

Pay

The pay range is $22.00‑$26.08 per hour, depending on experience and education.
