Hybrid Outpatient Psychiatrist - Greater Austin - TX

About the role

Geode Health is a rapidly growing, national provider of outpatient mental health services. Our Mission is to “Transform mental health by making it more accessible, affordable and effective.” We are actively recruiting for a passionate Outpatient Psychiatrist (MD/DO) in the greater Austin, Texas market.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Geode Health to achieve our mission of transforming mental health.
• Join a team of dedicated mental health providers who collaborate to focus on providing great care.
• Work in a hybrid schedule, typically three days a week onsite and two days telehealth, with the option for a four-day work week.
• Participate in an integrated care team that includes prescribers, therapists, practice assistants, and a full support team.
• Offer a range of treatment options, including TMS and Spravato, at some locations.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (PMHNPs/PAs).

Requirements

• Active license in the state of Texas.
• ABPN Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Active DEA license and active Controlled Substance license in Texas.
• Passion for high-quality mental healthcare.
• The desire and ability to see a general spectrum of mental health conditions and age ranges.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred.
• Interest in supervising Advanced Practice Providers (PMHNPs/PAs).
