HYBRID Medical Technician EMT-B AEMT CCMA

About the role

We're seeking Medical Technicians to join our mobile clinical team. In this role, you'll provide in-home care, support mobile lab services, and deliver a high-quality, compassionate patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of virtual Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide in-home care
• Perform physical exams and approved diagnostic tests and treatments using a mobile device
• Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and monitoring
• Start IVs and perform blood draws (as permitted by state law)
• Provide wound care, splinting, and EKGs
• Operate and maintain point-of-care lab equipment
• Complete clinical documentation
• Manage supplies and ensure readiness of the mobile care unit

Requirements

• Active EMT-B, RMA, AEMT, or CCMA certification
• Minimum one (1) year patient-facing experience
• BLS/CPR (American Heart Association)
• Valid state EMT license
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong customer service, communication, and technological skills
• Previous experience with comprehensive history gathering and documentation within EMR
• Previous experience with basic procedural skills
• Cultural competency - ability to interact with patients and families and develop rapport and trust
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a core or laboratory science (preferred)
• Two (2) years of experience in chemistry or hematology, including i-STAT experience (preferred)
• IV certification (in applicable states) (preferred)
