Hybrid - Facilities Director - Miami
About the role
The Facilities Director oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of facilities in a hybrid work environment. This role ensures buildings, equipment, and workplace services are maintained efficiently, supports employee workplace needs, manages vendor relationships, coordinates facility projects, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Facilities Director partners with cross-functional teams to deliver a safe, functional, and productive workplace while optimizing operational costs and enhancing the employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage facility operations, maintenance, and repairs across assigned locations.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building regulations.
- Oversee workplace services, space planning, and employee support.
- Manage facility budgets and track operational expenses.
- Lead facility improvement projects and workplace initiatives.
- Support hybrid workforce needs and maintain a positive employee experience.
- Hybrid work schedule with regular on-site presence and up to 15% travel to support facilities operations, projects, and stakeholder engagement.
Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of facilities management or related experience.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and P&L responsibilities.
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, boilers, chillers, generators, and preventive maintenance.
- Understanding of safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with up to 15% travel as needed.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000.
