Driver/Branch Operations Coordinator Crystal Clean (HCC) is a leader in the environmental services industry. Purpose: The CDL Driver/Branch Operations Coordinator will be responsible for preparation, review, and monitoring of material in and out of the facility. In addition to being responsible for the Safe and efficient delivery of materials to and from Branch Locations, Designated Receiving Facilities and/or Third-Party Vendors via Van Trailer and Tanker. Additionally, this position may require overnight travel as necessary. Daily work responsibilities will include the sampling and processing of incoming trucks and tankers. Additionally, is responsible for maintaining good housekeeping throughout the facility including picking up debris and general facility maintenance. Is responsible for the off-loading and loading of tankers and Commercial Motor Vehicles. Specific Duties Pulls samples of trucks and tankers prior to offloading.Unloads inbound materials from tanker trucksLoad tanker trailers for outbound deliveries.Transfers materials into or between storage/holding tanks on siteDevelop ways and means to operate more effectivelyComplete shift handover communicationsAdhere to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental and regulatory, human resources, facility, equipment, operations, and maintenance.Responsible for engaging in and promoting safe work behaviors in a manner that is consistent with all HCC safety guidelines.Aligns work orders to minimize mileage and travel time.Inspects vehicle and equipment for safe operation.Checks load prior to moving to ensure proper blocking and bracing of transported materials. Responsible for engaging in and promoting safe work behaviors in a manner that is consistent with all HCC safety guidelines.Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly.Verifies all paperwork of materials transported (Manifests, Bills of Lading, etc.) for accuracy and compliance. Maintains accurate driving logs.Maintains compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.Adhere to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental, health, & safety (EHS), human resources, facility, equipment, operations, and maintenance.Performs other related duties as assigned. Core Competencies And Specific Skills Strong communication skills and attention to detailAbility to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departmentsAbility to operate equipment such as electronic mobile devices, computers, hoses, all truck equipment, etc. Education, Certificates, Licenses, Or Designations High School diploma or equivalent required.Must have a valid driver’s license.Class A /B CDL with HazMat and tanker endorsement preferred.Motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets or exceeds HCC’s published standards including, but not limited to the following.Seat belt and cell phone violationsExcessive speedingDUI, suspension and/or multiple vehicle collisions Personal Protective Equipment*: Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include a respirator, steel toe boots, gloves, uniform, safety glasses, reflective vest, and hard hats Physical Requirements*: Frequent lifting of materials weighing up to 80lbsFrequent pushing/pulling of hoses/product using HCC-approved equipment for safe material handling. All applicants must pass the pre-employment physical including drug & alcohol screening. Pay for this role starts at $18.00 - $21.00 per hour.
