Hybrid Driver/Branch Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Driver/Branch Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of Crystal Clean facilities. This position involves preparing, reviewing, and monitoring material movements, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Pulls samples of trucks and tankers prior to offloading.
• Unloads inbound materials from tanker trucks.
• Loads tanker trailers for outbound deliveries.
• Transfers materials into or between storage/holding tanks on site.
• Develops methods to operate more effectively.
• Completes shift handover communications.
• Adheres to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental and regulatory, human resources, facility, equipment, operations, and maintenance.
• Engages in and promotes safe work behaviors in a manner consistent with all HCC safety guidelines.
• Aligns work orders to minimize mileage and travel time.
• Inspects vehicle and equipment for safe operation.
• Checks load prior to moving to ensure proper blocking and bracing of transported materials.
• Maintains accurate driving logs.
• Maintains compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
• Verifies all paperwork of materials transported (Manifests, Bills of Lading, etc.) for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license. Class A / B CDL with HazMat and tanker endorsement preferred.
• Motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets or exceeds HCC’s published standards.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include a respirator, steel toe boots, gloves, uniform, safety glasses, reflective vest, and hard hats.
• Frequent lifting of materials weighing up to 80 lbs.
• Frequent pushing/pulling of hoses/product using HCC-approved equipment for safe material handling.

Pay

Pay for this role starts at $18.00 - $21.00 per hour.
