Hybrid Breast Imaging Radiologist (MD/DO) - UNC Health Caldwell

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of breast imaging studies, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
• Performing image-guided breast procedures, such as biopsies and localizations
• Supporting radiology services at the Hospital and mammography center in Lenoir, NC
• Working in a hybrid model, covering onsite breast imaging needs at main campus and at the mammography center 2-3 days per week
• Completing work via teleradiology when not onsite
• Supporting breast procedural work at UNC Health Caldwell Hospital & the mammography center as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• BC/BE in Radiology; BC/BE in Breast Imaging Radiology
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiology residency program
• Eligible for or ability to obtain North Carolina medical licensure

• High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients
• Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English

Schedule

Full-Time Positions: 40 hours per week
Part-Time Positions: 2-3 days per week
