Hybrid Bilingual (Spanish) Speech Language Patholo
We are seeking five (5) Hybrid Bilingual (Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students in school-based settings throughout the Houston, Texas area. These positions offer a combination of on-site and remote services, providing flexibility while helping students develop critical communication skills. The ideal candidates will be fluent in both English and Spanish and passionate about supporting diverse student populations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification, if required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Conduct bilingual speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Provide a combination of in-person and virtual speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide recommendations
- Support students' communication development to enhance academic and social success
