Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Insurance Coverage Practice Group. This growing practice handles complex, high-value coverage litigation and market conduct matters on behalf of both domestic and international insurers.
Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions
- Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses
- Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation
- Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers
- Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precision
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
- Law Review and/or Honors required
- Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
- 2 years of substantive litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage matters
- Experience analyzing complex insurance policies
- Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations
- Demonstrated experience drafting litigation-related documents
- Experience participating in litigation proceedings, including depositions and mediations, among others
- Familiarity with some or all of the following: bad faith insurance claims, commercial general liability, commercial property, errors & omissions, and directors & officers

- Annual Salary: Expected annual base salary of $125,000 - $135,000 as determined by experience and market factors
