About the Role

Step into the spotlight as our next sales superstar! As Director of Sales, you’ll be the mastermind behind packed rooms, record-breaking revenue, and a dream team that celebrates every win. This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), with overtime calculated accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Cast creative strategies to fill rooms, boost revenue, and turn team wins into celebrations.
• Assemble, train, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team ready to tackle challenges with enthusiasm.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and marketing campaigns to position our hotel as the hottest spot in town.
• Conduct sales calls, tours, and client meetups to build lasting relationships and drive repeat business.
• Collaborate across departments to support the General Manager as the hotel’s ambassador of style and positivity.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience or a 4-year college degree and 1 year of related experience or a 2-year college degree and 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills; ability to negotiate, sell, and influence.
• Thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic vision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organization and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure.
