About the Role
Provide sustainment support for HxGN EAM solutions tailored to transit industry operations, regulatory requirements, and DOS business needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the existing HxGN EAM configuration established under the EAM Foundations Program.
- Troubleshoot system issues, research errors, and support end users in resolving technical or functional problems.
- Evaluate proposed technical solutions and provide direction for system design, integration, and mobile capabilities.
- Conduct requirements-gathering workshops with DOS business leads.
- Perform gap analyses comparing current vs. desired business processes and system capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for system optimization based on operational workflows.
- Design solutions using out-of-the-box functionality or collaborate with technical teams for custom enhancements.
- Configure HxGN EAM for DOS assets and support integrations with corporate systems.
- Develop FlexSQL and leverage the Extensibility Framework to meet business needs.
- Build reporting solutions including Queries, Inboxes, KPIs, and Dataspys.
- Support end-to-end project activities including scoping, planning, estimating, implementation, and deployment.
- Create, validate, execute, and document test cases.
- Assist with end-user training, reference materials, and go-live/post-go-live support.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of hands-on HxGN EAM experience (v11 or higher).
- Strong proficiency with HxGN EAM Extensibility Framework and FlexSQL.
- Experience in Work & Asset Management modules (Work Orders, Planning, Equipment, etc.).
- Minimum 5 years delivering enterprise asset management system services, including leading solution development teams.
- Experience with EAM implementations and sustainment.
- Understanding of complex relational databases and system modification/customization.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project).
- Experience with desktop/mobile support and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in the Railroad/Transit industry.
