About the Role
We are seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to support our residential and commercial property portfolio.
This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible, appointment-based scheduling. Work is assigned based on service requests, maintenance needs, and project scope, allowing you to accept jobs that fit your availability.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service HVAC systems (AC units, air handlers, ductwork, thermostats)
- Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
- Handle service calls for tenant-occupied and vacant properties
- Install or replace HVAC systems as needed (based on project scope)
- Identify issues and recommend solutions to maintain system performance
- Communicate job status, findings, and completion updates
Requirements
- Valid HVAC license (State of Florida or applicable certification)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proven experience in residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems
- Able to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC units independently
- Must have your own tools and equipment
- EPA Certification (preferred/required depending on scope)
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
