Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and controls
- Perform preventive maintenance to improve performance and extend equipment life
- Install new HVAC systems and components according to specifications and blueprints
- Test system performance using appropriate tools and adjust controls for proper operation
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer communications
- Respond promptly to service calls and provide exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, building codes, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with other trades and departments to complete projects efficiently
- Provide recommendations for system improvements and energy efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or HVAC degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience in commercial or industrial environments
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and dependable
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions
- Ability to stand, climb, and work at heights for extended periods
