HVAC Technician

Core Responsibilities

Maintaining commercial package cooling systems on Cell Tower sites – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.

Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.

Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.

Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.

Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.

Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Core Experience

• Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email

Physical/Work Environment

• Candidates should reside in the Denver, Colorado area
• Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion
• Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure
• Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides $50 per diem/per night
• Driving to remote work sites as needed
• Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors
• Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
• May need to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical

Compensation

Starting at $62,400 up to $115,000 annual salary/DOE
