HVAC Technician

About the role
Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Cheyenne, Wyoming area.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
- Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
- Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
- Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
- Operating and maintaining a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
Requirements
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
Qualifications
- Available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnight required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
- Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Pay
Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 hourly/DOE. At Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location. In addition to wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
