About the role
The HVAC Mechanic will oversee the facility's HVAC systems and equipment to ensure proper operations and preventative maintenance of components and equipment. The HVAC Technician shall also be responsible for the technical expertise of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the facility's HVAC systems and equipment to ensure proper operations and preventative maintenance of components and equipment.
- Install, assemble, troubleshoot, modify, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system problems as assigned.
- Maintain HVAC equipment in sound operating condition.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Base Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM.
- MD Journeyman license required.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years commercial/industrial HVAC experience.
- Universal CFC and EPA 608 certification.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience with large boilers, chilled water systems, AHU's, cooling tower operation & maintenance, building control systems.
- Ability to identify common causes of HVAC failures.
- Ability to coordinate effective PM scheduling.
- Ability to establish routine testing procedures.
- Meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work as required.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC systems and an ability to understand and utilize MEP drawings.
Skills
- Commercial/Industrial HVAC experience.
- MD Journeyman HVAC license.
- Universal CFC and EPA 608 certification.
- OSHA 10 certification.

Pay
$40-$45 per hour based on experience.
Schedule
Base Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM.
