HVAC Technician - Amangiri

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all HVAC and refrigeration systems across the property.
• Monitor system performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to refrigerant use and reporting.
• Track, recover, and report refrigerant usage in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Order parts, tools, and supplies required for HVAC and refrigeration maintenance.
• Support preventive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and equipment failure.
• Aid with mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks as required.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organisation of plant rooms, workshops, and service areas.
• Attend briefings and meetings related to new installations or system upgrades.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and engineering standards at all times.

Requirements

• Universal EPA Certification and recognised HVAC and refrigeration certifications.
• Previous experience maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment.
• Strong working knowledge of heating, cooling, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform demanding manual tasks in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Willingness to stay informed on changing HVAC and refrigeration regulations.
