HVAC Team Lead
About the role
Jetson is a company dedicated to accelerating the transition of 100 million homes in North America to sustainable energy use. We focus on heat pump systems to reduce carbon emissions from residential HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
- Remove existing HVAC equipment
- Install new heat pump systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
- Test heat pump systems to ensure proper functionality
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and building codes when installing or repairing systems
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineering teams on the product and processes
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
- Train team members on the Jetson equipment and install procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as an install team member and team lead
- HVAC NATE and Section 608 certification preferred
- BPI certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations in the Denver area
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communications and customer service skills
- Follows OSHA Electrical Standard
- Follows the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standard
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in residential HVAC installation and possess the necessary certifications. They should also be able to communicate effectively and follow safety protocols.
Skills
Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Pay
$43- $48 per hour
