Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, replace, and perform periodic maintenance and inspections on environmental control systems.
• Operate and maintain gas and oil-fired boilers and auxiliary equipment.
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
• Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
• Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.

Requirements

• Education/License/Experience Requirements:
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years technical training in air conditioning and refrigeration systems or an equivalent universal license.
• Three (3) years’ experience in air conditioning and refrigeration systems, installation and repair.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience with cryogenic or cascade refrigeration systems.
• Licensure in the State of Montana for a 3rd class boilers license or able to obtain within 6 months of employment.
