Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of sheet metal workers.
- Ensure the accurate installation and maintenance of HVAC sheet metal components.
- Review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute work.
- Monitor job site safety and enforce OSHA guidelines.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation and repairs.
- Cookordination with other trades, contractors, and clients to ensure project completion.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 10+ years of HVAC sheet metal experience.
- Journeyman certification in HVAC or sheet metal work.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and airflow principles.
- Proficiency in sheet metal tools, equipment, and safety practices.
- Experience managing teams and working under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in various environments, including high spaces.
- Able to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
- OSHA 30 or the ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
