HVAC/Sheet Metal - Foreman or Journeyman
Job Description
We are looking for a commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal foreman or installer with at least 2 years HVAC/Sheet Metal experience. The duties for the journeyman position include:
- Lay out, measure, and mark out dimensions
- Assemble and install heating, ventilating, and air conditioning duct work
- Install copper refrigerant lines, including brazing and soldering
- Assemble and install HVAC equipment
- Work off of sheet metal shop drawings and plans to install duct work and equipment
- Take field measurements, calculate offsets, and perform layouts
- Follow all established safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements for Foreman Position
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to insure appropriate manpower and material
- Manage and direct HVAC/Sheet Metal Crews
- Conduct safety inspections and pre-task plans
- Attend weekly meetings with General Contractor/Owner
- Daily task assignment for all crew members
- Daily Reports and Timecards

Work Location
The Work: Work located in the Vancouver/Portland area. We perform a wide range of commercial work including warehouses, food processing, apartments, hotels, schools, and a variety of industrial types of work.
