As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience and helping homeowners make informed decisions about their comfort systems. Responsibilities: What Will I Do?Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning systemsPerform comprehensive system evaluations to identify root causes of equipment issuesService and maintain:Air conditionersFurnacesHeat pumpsIndoor air quality systemsThermostats and controlsRelated HVAC componentsUtilize diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectivelyPresent repair options and recommendations clearly and professionally to homeownersEducate customers on system operation, maintenance requirements, and energy-saving opportunitiesPromote and explain the benefits of the CoolCare Maintenance AgreementIdentify opportunities to improve comfort, efficiency, reliability, and indoor air qualityBuild strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communicationAccurately document service findings, completed work, and recommendations using company software platformsMaintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety proceduresEnsure all work is completed according to local, state, and national codes Qualifications: Do I have What it Takes?Required ExperienceMinimum 5 years of residential HVAC service, maintenance, and repair experienceProven experience diagnosing and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC system issuesStrong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skillsSkills & AbilitiesExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to build trust and create positive customer experiencesStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyResults-driven mindset in a performance-focused environmentAbility to explain technical information in a clear, customer-friendly mannerDesire to continuously learn and advance within the HVAC industryPreferred QualificationsExperience with ServiceTitanIndustry certifications (EPA Certification preferred)Previous experience working within residential home servicesRequirementsValid driver's licenseAbility to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviewAbility to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor environmentsAbility to lift, carry, and maneuver HVAC equipment and materialsAt Coolray, we're committed to helping our technicians succeed.
