Service Tech Positions and Responsibilities
- Service Technician I: Often a recent graduate from an accredited trade school entering the field of HVAC service and repair and/or has 3 or less years of experience in the field. Expected to be proficient in preventative maintenance work.
- Service Technician II: Has required accreditations including EPA certification and generally has more than 3 years’ experience in the field of HVAC service and repair. Qualified and skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial grade HVAC equipment including but not limited to unitary products up to 50-ton package units, boilers, and heat exchangers without supervision.
- Service Technician III: Has required accreditations including EPA certification and generally has more than 5 years’ experience in the field of HVAC service and repair. Qualified and skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial grade HVAC equipment, including but not limited to, unitary products up to 50-ton package units, boilers, heat exchangers, control valves, chillers (including retrofitting) without supervision.
Pay Range
$20 - $45 per hour
