HVAC - Service Technician

About the role

BelRed is a quarter-century-old, trusted local business in Western Washington, providing residential service and replacement systems including plumbing, electrical, geothermal, and solar. We are seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician with 2+ years of experience and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems - reheat coils, air handling units, duct work, vents, condensation drainage
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Track repairs and work completed in trade software, Service Titan
• Engage with customers to inform them of issues, solutions, and optimal system performance

Requirements

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience preferred
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school
• An outstanding work ethic with excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
• Professionalism and pride in work and appearance
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and work outdoors

Qualifications

Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Pay

Competitive earnings with uncapped performance compensation, average take-home of $70K-$140K+ annually.
