HVAC Service Technician- $1,000 Sign on Bonus

About the role

We’re looking for experienced residential HVAC Service Technicians who can diagnose problems, make quality repairs, communicate confidently with homeowners, and deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. This is a customer-facing service role where you’ll build trust, educate homeowners, present solutions, and help customers make informed decisions about repairs, upgrades, replacements, and improvements to their home comfort systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Perform maintenance, tune-ups, and system-related services
• Provide customers with a professional, high-quality experience on every call
• Build trust and long-term relationships with homeowners
• Clearly explain system findings and help customers understand their options
• Present repair, replacement, upgrade, and system improvement recommendations based on the customer's needs
• Educate homeowners on available solutions so they can make informed decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve home comfort, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and overall system performance
• Discuss repair versus replacement options when appropriate
• Be comfortable with sales and confidently present solutions without relying on high-pressure tactics
• Follow up on customer questions and ensure they understand the work being recommended
• Complete accurate documentation using ServiceTitan
• Follow company procedures and industry safety standards
• Maintain clean and organized tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas
• Represent the One Hour brand with professionalism, honesty, and integrity

Requirements

• Proven residential HVAC service and repair experience
• Strong HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and relationships with homeowners
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain system issues, solutions, and recommendations
• Comfort with sales, presenting service options, and recommending repairs, upgrades, and system improvements based on the customer's needs
• Ability to educate customers on HVAC solutions without using high-pressure sales tactics
• Confidence discussing repair versus replacement options when appropriate
• Ability to identify additional opportunities that improve comfort, efficiency, indoor air quality, and system performance
• A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering an exceptional experience from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and industry best practices
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Commitment to quality workmanship, professionalism, and integrity
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Motivation to continuously learn, improve, and grow within the trade
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening

Earnings
