HVAC Service/Start Up Technician

About The Position

The Mechanical Service Technician supports Power Design projects by installing and repairing HVAC mechanical systems, fixtures, wiring, controls, and equipment.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as needed, diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Execute HVAC system start-up and commissioning tasks.
• Ensure adherence to contract scope, specifications, and Power Design’s values, policies, and procedures.
• Provide superior customer service and develop customer relationships.
• Provide weekly status updates on warranty calls, small projects, service work, service tickets, labor requirements, and material requirements.
• Work as an HVAC Technician on a designated job site when not answering service calls or performing maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Skilled HVAC Technician with at least five years of service experience, ten years preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of IECC, ICC, ASHRAE Standards, local codes, and construction safety requirements.
• EPA Certified, OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Active Journeyman or Master’s HVAC license preferred.
• Experience with office software, proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
• Willingness to travel as required.
