HVAC Service - Maintenance Technician

Work Schedule & Location

• 1st Shift: 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Weekends Only: 7:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday & Sunday
• Locations: Manchester, Portsmouth, Somersworth NH

Job Duties

• Troubleshooting, diagnostics, service, repair, and maintenance of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
• AC service, repair, and maintenance
• Working with oil, propane, natural gas, and electric HVAC systems
• Propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers
• Providing excellent customer service
• Consulting with and educating homeowners on systems and products
• Ability to contact tech support with diagnostic questions
• Daily use of tablet

Qualifications & Skills

• Residential HVAC service experience
• AC service experience
• Annual routine maintenance experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Experience consulting customers with repair and replacement decisions
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• MA or NH Gas Licensed – Desired, training provided
• MA or NH Oil License – Desired, training provided
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate from a HVAC Technical School – Desired
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Pay Range

• 1st Shift: $32.00 to $45.00+ per hour, depending on individual's capabilities
• 2nd Shift: $38.00 – $50.00 per hour (must have AC, oil & propane experience)
• Weekends Only: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on individual's capabilities
