HVAC Service/Installation Technicians

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Keep trade licenses and certifications current.
• Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the clean air act and occupational safety regulations mandated by federal, state and local governments.
• Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
• Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
• Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.

Qualifications

• State of Maine Gas license.
• EPA 608 Universal required.
• Commercial HVAC systems experience.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Physical Demands

• Regularly walk.
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Climb or balance.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Talk, hear, smell and lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways.
• Stand and occasionally sit.
• Lift and/or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs. frequently, 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101 plus seldom.
• Maintain close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.
• Adjust focus.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.

Pay

Compensation Range: $30.00-$45.00 hourly commensurate with experience.
