Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC Technician in repairing refrigeration, HVAC, and EMS equipment for commercial and residential clients.
• Develop problem-solving skills to work without direct supervision.
• Learn and become efficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical problems related to HVAC equipment.
• Learn to read and understand schematics.
• Gain working knowledge of EMS components and operations.
• Assist in installing air conditioning/refrigeration systems and related equipment (e.g., unit heaters, pumps, safety controls) to provide comfort inside facilities.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• No experience required—we provide training. Previous experience as an HVAC Pre-Apprentice or related Commercial Plumbing Pre-Apprentice program is a plus.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs or more.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and agility tests.
