About the role

This is the most exciting time to be in HVAC in California. With the 2026 Title 24 standards making heat pumps the prescriptive default and the switch to new more efficient home comfort making high-end systems more accessible than ever, we need a "killer" salesperson to capture this demand.

Responsibilities

  • Training: Advanced training on 2026 energy codes, load calculations, and HVAC design
  • Close the Deal: Profitably sell high-ticket HVAC equipment and whole-home electrification solutions.
  • Technical Support: Perform load calculations (Manual J/S/D) and job site evaluations to ensure perfect equipment sizing (we will train the right salesperson on this!)
  • Navigate the "Incentive Stack": Expertly guide customers through the 2026 rebate landscape, maximizing their savings as programs become available.
  • Project Management: Process all job paperwork, including permits and utility rebate filings, to ensure a seamless "white-glove" experience for the customer.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with our elite install teams to ensure the project you sold is delivered exactly as promised.
  • The "Closer" Mentality: Minimum 3 years of success in HVAC, solar, or high-end construction sales. You must be comfortable with "big-ticket" residential sales.
  • Results-Oriented: We expect results out of the gate. If you have a proven track record of $2M+ in annual residential sales, you belong here.
  • Technical Aptitude: Knowledge of HVAC design, venting, and piping. BPI Certification is a major plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: Professional proficiency with ServiceTitan (or similar dispatch software) and iPads is required.
  • Credentialing: Valid Driver’s License and a clean record are mandatory.
  • Communication: Ability to present complex mechanical solutions in a simple, dignified way to homeowners.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of success in HVAC, solar, or high-end construction sales.
  • You must be comfortable with "big-ticket" residential sales.
  • Proven track record of $2M+ in annual residential sales.
